As a member organisation of Southern Volunteering (SA) Inc, you can access a range of useful services and resources.
Update your organisation’s details
If there have been any changes to your organisation that are relevant to your volunteer programs, such as:
- contact details
- current volunteer positions and/or position requirements
- media or communication materials (e.g. logo, website, organisation summary)
We will need to update your organisation’s profile and advertised volunteer positions.

Insurance requirements
Southern Volunteering is unable to verify that public liability insurance and volunteer protection are current and in place for all members annually. All members must assume responsibility for renewal of both policies to maintain Southern Volunteering membership, and for vacancies to remain listed on Southern Volunteering databases and websites.
Should your organisation not wish to continue with maintaining either insurance you must inform Southern Volunteering immediately. You understand that this will result in advertising of your volunteer vacancies and referral of potential volunteers, no longer being provided through Southern Volunteering. You understand that should you fail to inform Southern Volunteering that public liability and/or volunteer worker’s insurance are no longer in place, that Southern Volunteering is not liable for death, personal injury or illness that may occur to a volunteer referred by Southern Volunteering, or to a member of the public as a result of the actions of a referred volunteer.
Promote a new volunteer position
Use this form to provide details about new volunteer positions. Once reviewed, we will be begin to promote the position(s) online.
This form will also prompt you to review your existing volunteer roles, to ensure that all the roles we are currently promoting are still relevant.
Network meetings, training and development
We offer our members free or discounted access to regular network meetings and training and development opportunities. Visit our Humanitix page, see what’s coming up and secure your spot.
Southern Volunteering, in collaboration with Volunteering SA & NT and Northern Volunteering, host quarterly State Volunteer Managers Network Meetings. These meetings are an excellent opportunity for Volunteer Managers to hear about the latest news, training and resources, network with other Volunteer Managers and organisations within SA, and gain valuable insight into the volunteering sector. Meetings are primarily held online, and attendance is free for SVSA member organisations.
