Here at Southern Volunteering we can assist your organisation with volunteer recruitment and engagement, capacity building, and professional development.
We offer our members a variety of services, resources and training opportunities designed to promote and facilitate best practice in volunteer management.

By becoming a member of Southern Volunteering, your organisation will benefit from:
Assistance with the development of engaging volunteer role descriptions and advertisements.
Sharing and promotion of volunteering opportunities on high-traffic online portals including GoVolunteer and SEEK Volunteer.
Sharing of volunteer opportunities to SVSA’s networks, social media and individuals who utilise our volunteer referral service.
Assistance with queries, and provision of information and guidance in regards to volunteers and volunteer management.
PLUS:
- Access to SA State Volunteer Managers quarterly network meetings, supporting volunteer managers through information sharing, guest speakers and networking opportunities
- Access to staff from Southern Volunteering SA Inc who can be booked as speakers for presentations, volunteer events or Annual General Meetings
- Complimentary 1 hour information session with one of our qualified and knowledgeable staff
- Voting rights at the Southern Volunteering Annual General Meeting
- Member invitations and discounts to special events
- Inclusion on our email distribution list for information on training, events, funding, research and resources
- Membership is available to any not-for-profit organisation or government agency
- All new membership applications are approved by the Southern Volunteering (SA) Inc Board of Management who meet on a monthly basis. You will be informed in writing of the outcome
- Southern Volunteering (SA) Inc is committed to its policy of safeguarding volunteer and membership information. Details such as address, phone number and insurance policy numbers are collected for the purposes of ensuring appropriate services are provided to members and remain with Southern Volunteering (SA) Inc
- Ensure your organisation has the correct insurance to engage with volunteers responsibly (click here to view our insurance info sheet)
